Dinner - Open Bar - Online Auction This year’s guest speaker is author Virginia Christian Beach. Her books include "Rice & Ducks: The Surprising Convergence that Saved the Carolina Lowcountry" and the just published history of Middleton Place "American Landmark", sharing great insight and appreciation for the land use challenges and conservation success in the Lowcountry. Our guests will also be able to enjoy fantastic food, cocktails, music by Prettier Than Matt and waterfront views from the lawn of this historic home. Our online auction will offer the opportunity to bid on unique items and experiences. **If you would prefer to mail a check, please contact Alison Geer at alison@scelp.org or 843-527-0078 to confirm sponsorship availability.** About the Kaminski House Tour (available with Water Protector + Life Sustainer sponsorships) The historic Kaminski House will be available to you and your guests from 4:30 – 6:00 PM. Docents will be on site to provide detail and share some of the house’s history. About the Guided Boat Tour (available with Life Sustainer sponsorship) Enjoy a two-hour cruise through Winyah Bay and into the Waccamaw River. Departing from Rover Tours in downtown historic Georgetown at 3:00 PM, the cruise will offer views of majestic oak trees, the abandoned rice fields of Hobcaw Barony and the smokestack of the USS Harvest Moon, a Civil War Flagship resting on the dregs of Winyah Bay for more than a century. Returning to the Front Street dock by 5:00 PM will give you and your guests ample time to walk or drive over to the Kaminski House and enjoy all of the evening’s offerings. **As of 8/19 Individual Tickets are Sold Out.
